Save (सेव) विकल्प का उपयोग वर्तमान Notepad फ़ाइल को सहेजने के लिए किया जाता है। यह दस्तावेज़ में किए गए सभी परिवर्तनों को सुरक्षित करता है। यदि फ़ाइल पहली बार सेव की जा रही हो, तो Notepad फ़ाइल का नाम और स्थान (Location) पूछता है।
