What is a Cookie?

A Cookie is a small text file sent by a web server to a web browser and stored on the user's computer. Whenever the user revisits the website, the browser sends the cookie back to the server. Cookies help websites remember user preferences, login sessions, shopping cart items, and other browsing information, making the browsing experience faster and more personalized.
कुकी (Cookie) एक छोटी टेक्स्ट फ़ाइल होती है, जिसे वेब सर्वर द्वारा वेब ब्राउज़र को भेजा जाता है और यह उपयोगकर्ता के कंप्यूटर में संग्रहीत हो जाती है। जब उपयोगकर्ता दोबारा उसी वेबसाइट पर जाता है, तो ब्राउज़र उस कुकी को सर्वर को वापस भेजता है। कुकीज़ का उपयोग लॉगिन जानकारी, उपयोगकर्ता की पसंद (Preferences), शॉपिंग कार्ट, तथा अन्य ब्राउज़िंग जानकारी को याद रखने के लिए किया जाता है, जिससे वेबसाइट का उपयोग अधिक सुविधाजनक हो जाता है।
